Silky Polisher

Product processing / development at AGT goes beyond simply improving and revamping existing products line.


Water Polisher uses atomized water and grain to grain friction to give a glaze finishing to the final products. Grain to Grain friction removes the residual bran layer supported by adequate water being sprayed at the inlet and uniform mixing in the mixing chamber. Processing the grain by controlling the humidity in the chamber, the grain is polished without damage.

Working Principle:


  1. The white rice which is fed from the top inlet will be coated with a water mist, which will be evenly spread to entire fed rice.
  2. This rice will move to the polishing chamber which houses a cam roller encased inside hexagonal housing with sieve screens.
  3. The rice will rub against each other & the bran will be discharged from the bottom through air suction. The rice outlet will have a gate to get the desired glossiness.
  4. Bran will be discharged through the sieves & will be pneumatically conveyed. The entire polishing housing can be easily removed for any cleaning /inspection.
