Whitener Polisher

The Vertical Whitening Machine is a high-production equipment, with efficiency, that was developed to obtain a higher rate of whole grains, a uniform whitening. This equipment is widely used in lines of parboiled rice milling or high capacity white rice line.

Vertical Abrasive Whitener operated on the principle of friction action by the abrasive stone rings.

Working Principle:

1. The brown rice is fed through the inlet and uniformly spread between the abrasive stone rings and perforated screens through a double end screw feeder.
2. High quality silicon carbide abrasive stone rings/wheels will rub the rice against the sieve screens.
3. The vertical metal breaks provided resistance to the rice grain, allowing removal of germ and bran layers.
4. The vertical arrangement ensures grain spins in its position until the required amount of layer is removed and passes through the gap between the stone rings and break.
5. The rice outlet will have spring loaded conical gate to regulate the flow & to have the desired whiteness.
6. Bran will be discharged through the sieves & will be pneumatically conveyed.
7. With well-placed Ammeter & Pressure gauge, monitoring the current & the pressure in the aspiration system is made easy.
8. Specially designed silicon carbide grinding wheels.
